Welcome to the privacy policy of Rudergesellschaft Heidelberg 1898 e. V. – Rugby Department! As a rugby club, we support children, young people and “grown-up” athletes, representing German rugby, the sport of rugby in general, and its values:

This privacy policy applies specifically to our website for the Räuber Cup 2027 (raeubercup.com), the international youth rugby tournament that we host as RGH.

The core ideas of rugby are team spirit and fair play.
The will to win and the tough, sometimes hard-fought play are carried by respectful conduct among everyone involved – on and off the pitch.

Purposes of Processing

Running the tournament: As the host, we collect and manage data for the planning, organisation and running of the Räuber Cup on behalf of RGH. This includes producing video recordings for match and performance analysis, as well as keeping statistics.

Public relations: We document the tournament and communicate news to participants, sponsors and the press. To do this, we create and use photo and video material. We only publish photos and videos of players, coaches, staff and members online with their consent — we always ask beforehand, and for minors, we ask their parents or guardians. As a rule, we publish photos and videos without naming individuals.

Collection of General Information When Visiting Our Website

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected (server log files): browser type, operating system, domain name of the internet service provider, and similar. This does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally and is technically necessary for correctly delivering the website.
